Website cost guide
How much does a website cost in Melbourne?
A small business website in Melbourne can be a simple one-page site or a larger online store. The cost depends on the number of pages, the wording, features and what is included after launch.
What affects website cost
- How many pages you need
- Who writes the wording and supplies the photos
- Features such as forms, bookings, online payments or a shop
- Whether the domain, hosting and maintenance are included or billed separately

Website cost questions
How much does a website cost in Melbourne?
It depends on the size of the site, the features and what is included after launch. During our current offer, Infolex websites start at A$599 + GST for one page, with Plus at A$999 + GST and Online Store at A$1,499 + GST.
What is a reasonable price to pay for a website?
There isn’t one right price. Compare what each quote includes, such as the wording, hosting, domain and updates, as well as what you will pay after the first year. A lower build price can cost more over time if yearly fees are high.
How much does it cost to host a website in Australia?
Hosting costs vary by provider, storage and support, so check what is included. With Infolex, hosting is included for the first 12 months. After that, a website renews at A$349 + GST a year, which also covers domain renewal, security updates and fixes.
